The Institute for Resilient Communities is dedicated to developing and improving scientific and technological capabilities to assess, predict, and minimize the impact of sudden or long-term changes that could have disastrous consequences on local and global communities. It combines science, technology, education, and outreach by involving academic and educational institutions as well as communities in an international, multi-disciplinary, and multi-cultural context.
